This Website is a tribute to my favourite British retro-band PATTO. In the early 70's they created some extraordinary fine music. Few groups at that time could successfully encompass so many styles and varying influences as did PATTO, merging jazz-rock fusion with gutsy R&B whilst also delivering a touch of the unexpected, either by way of Ollie Halsall's "of the wall" guitar antics or Mike Patto's wayward vocals and humour. Due to fine musicianship, they never got the success they deserved. Here you can read their rather sad story and listen to some sound-clips from cap'n P and the ATTO's.
