These pages list my ancestors from the Oppland, Hedmark, Akershus and Buskerud counties in Norway.

Most pages are bilingual -- if you look closely you should always find the essential information in English. (There are two English-only pages, this one and the Layout page.) A summary of the most recent changes in Norwegian and English can be found on the top of the Norwegian main page (Hovedside).

The pages contain errors (mainly before 1500) and are subject to continuous updating in order to improve the quality.

The pedigrees are split in many pages, one set for my mother's ancestors and one for my father's.  The layout of the pages is described here.

There is also a database where you can search on names, and have citations and sources listed for each person.

Most pages are marked with the date of last update in the upper right corner. Note the European date format.

You may consider using your browser's capability to reduce fonts before printing the pedigrees.

This material is likely to change as new sources or new interpretations become available, and does not necessarily represent the truth!
