Kottivakkam Dental Centre (KDC) for Acute Help * South India

The Kottivakkam Dental Centre for Acute Help has been blessed with Sampath (Sam) Sridhar as the project manager. Sam is in charge of running the base clinic and administering the mobile centres. He also manages the boarding and lodging at Madar Heim (residence for the dentists), and the everyday needs of the volunteers. In addition to Sam there are five people employed by the project including a cook, housekeeper, driver, dental assistant and watchman. So the volunteers can be assured that they are in good hands. Sam works in close association with J. Venugopal, the contact person for Guidy Rotary Club, and with Nayeem Syed and Richard Wiger in Norway. We really enjoy working together.

Sampath (Sam) Sridhar is our devoted project manager. He sets up the monthly schedules for the volunteers and when the volunteers have some time off, he helps them with sightseeing, travel plans, visits to restaurants and resorts, and takes care of everyone as though they were family members.
