Accomodation: Madar Heim is a two-storied house with a beautiful view over the Bay of Bengal, and is beside the base clinic. On the first floor consists there is a sitting room with a TV, dining hall and a kitchen. Second floor has three bedrooms facing the sea and with access to a balcony. The volunteer’s bedroom is air-conditioned and has an attached bath room.
The ”Kottivakam Dental Centre for Acute Help” has a full time project manager , Mr. Sampath Sridahr, who is in charge of running the base clinic and administrating the mobile centers. He also manages the boarding, lodging and the laundry of the volunteers at the Dentist House. There are three fulltime staff members at the house. Mr. Sridahr will also assist the volunteers in arranging sightseeing programs during the week-ends. His E-mail adress is:
Breakfast, lunch and dinner, prepared in the Indian style, but modified to western taste), are prepared and served by the staff. Laundry service will be available almost every day. |
