I bought my first computer at the age of 11 with money I had earned by riding around on my bike with the paper in rain and coldness! Sharp MZ-700 was its name, and I thought it would turn my life upside down, which it naturally didn't. I was quick to change it with a C64, when all the good games came with this. The year after I changed my whole C64 with a 8086 - my first "real" PC! This one I used a lot! I bought a modem the year before. 300 baud's! Amazing how patient one could be in the "good old days". Wonder how much time it would have taken to download Netscape Communicator Professional edition with that one?? (ha!)
I also worked at a local radio station for many years. When I was in the 7th grade I attended a technician course - and I really liked it a lot. After having worked there for a while I had three technician courses, course in sound- technique at The Norwegian School of Sound, and a couple of courses in press behavior. Unfortunately you can't make money doing this the rest of your life - at least not at the small ones. My interest gradually diminished after I moved to Oslo. I used too much time traveling back and forth.
After
finishing college I started working at Gilde. It wasn't much fun , but at least
I got paid! :) It's a big meat firm and I started in the production. I packed
tons of meat each day. That year I was called out to do my military service,
but luckily I managed to get out of it. Maybe because there were so many of
us that year.. (?). Anyway - I continued working in production for three more
years. At that time I was so tired of it that I almost tear my walls down. I
applied to all the vacant jobs I could, and finally I got transferred to expedition
office. I stayed there I short while and shortly after I got a vicariate in
management. After that I went to sales when a colleague at work got very sick.
I have stayed partly in that job since then. Today I do some sale, some planning
and some administrative functions. Take a look at my
link-pages if you would like to look at some homepages to our cooperative
firms. This is a picture of me when I was working in production..
I moved in with a friend of mine in Oslo when I was 18. We lived in a small apartment, but I felt a great freedom living in Oslo. I lived near my job, which was a great advantage if I was late for work. And if you had to crawl on your knees back from a night out , that was possible :) I lived in this flat for three years. I then decided to buy my own place. I found one I really liked at Kampen (near Oslo center). When I first went to look at this flat I immediately felt at home, and I still do!
I have no boyfriend, but I eager to get one.
I feel that my life is not complete without one :(
Have you looked in my PHOTOALBUM ?
